Oil on copper from a Flemish school from the very beginning of the 18th century, in a simple modern wooden frame. The emblematic scene of "Ecce Homo", showing Christ crowned with thorns, presented to the crowd by Pontius Pilate. This work, expressive and typical of the end of the 17th century, combines the finesse of the faces and elaborate clothing details. The scene is framed by figures in oriental costumes, highlighting the influence of Flemish Baroque imagery.
