Anneau épiscopal dit conciliaire, en or de 1965

Anneau épiscopal en or jaune (750/°°°) du Concile Vatican II, offert à tous les Pères conciliaires par le Pape Paul VI, en signe de Communion, en décembre 1965, à l'occasion de la clôture du Concile œcuménique Vatican II (1962-1965).
Il s’agit d’un travail milanais signé Manfrini (1917 - 2004).
L’anneau évoque la forme d'une mitre et est à décor gravé du Christ entouré de deux apôtres dans une niche tripartite.
L'intérieur de l'anneau est gravé aux armes du Vatican. Il est aujourd'hui disponible comme anneau épiscopal et plusieurs évêques le portent.

Episcopal ring in yellow gold (750/°°°) from the Second Vatican Council, presented to all the Council Fathers by Pope Paul VI as a sign of Communion in December 1965, on the occasion of the closing of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council (1962-1965). It is a Milanese piece signed Manfrini (1917-2004). The ring is shaped like a mitre and features an engraved depiction of Christ flanked by two apostles in a tripartite niche. The interior of the ring is engraved with the Vatican coat of arms. It is currently available as an episcopal ring and is worn by several bishops. Weight: 13.7 grams. Fine condition. Reference 820
