Important double Prie-Dieu – XVIIIe

Entre deux colonnes torses se tiennent deux putti présentés de part et d’autre d’un angelot central en et répondant à deux autres putti également positionnés en miroir. Tous montrent du doigt la direction des cieux, demeure céleste du Très Haut.
En bois et richement sculpté notre Prie-Dieu est de belles dimensions avec 170 cm de hauteur sur 110 de large et 70 cm de profondeur.
Un travail du sud de la France ou Espagnol.

Between two twisted columns stand two putti presented on either side of a central cherub and answering two other putti also positioned in mirror. All point the finger in the direction of the heavens, celestial abode of the Most High.
In wood and richly carved our Prie-Dieu is of beautiful dimensions with 170 cm in height by 110 in width and 70 cm in depth.
