Calice baroque en argent – circa 1780

En partie doré, il est porté par un pied rond bombé avec anneau de support ajusté. Ce pied est gravé de trois épis et porte une intéressante dédicace, en latin, d’un Saint Patron « Saint Laurent Priez pour nous ».
Le fut  torsadé avec triple bossage supporte une coupe vermeillée.
Un travail allemand de la région de Augsbourg, avec poinçon du maître Emmanuel Gottfried Meisgeyer, actif à partir de 1764. Il est doublé d’un cachet d'importation français.

Partly gilded, it is supported by a rounded, domed foot with an adjusted support ring. This foot is engraved with three ears of corn and bears an interesting dedication, in Latin, of a Patron Saint "Saint Lawrence Pray for us" The twisted shaft with triple bossage supports a vermeil cup.
A German work from the Augsburg region. with the hallmark of the master Emmanuel Gottfried Meisgeyer, active from 1764 coupled with a French import stamp.
