Socle Reliquaire De Saint Amand – Début XVIIIe

Au cœur de notre grand socle en bois, richement sculpté et doré, un large médaillon couronné accueille une relique notable et ensachée de Saint Amandi. La relique est constituée d’un important fragment ex-ossibus de l’occiput. Il est entouré de canetilles dorées agrémentées de perles avec une large bande d’orfroi. Probablement une relique Saint Amand d'Elnone, Evêque de Maastricht (mort vers 676)  Un travail d'Italie du nord vers 1700 Dimensions de 46 sur 34 cm de hauteur et  21 cm de profondeur Excellent état

At the heart of our large, richly carved and gilded wooden base, a large crowned medallion houses a notable and bagged relic of Saint Amandi. The relic consists of a large ex-ossibus fragment of the occiput. It is surrounded by golden canetilles decorated with pearls with a wide band of orphrey. Probably a relic of Saint Amand of Elnone, Bishop of Maastricht (died around 676) A work from northern Italy around 1700 Dimensions of 46 by 34 cm high and 21 cm deep Excellent condition
